Michele is a life-long conservative Republican, and has been highly active in local, state and national politics for more than 30 years. In 2018, she was elected as the Broward Republican State Committeewoman in a landslide. She won re-election in a 4-way, county-wide contest in August 2020 with more than 50% of the vote. She is seeking re-election in 2024.

The State Committeewoman (SCW) is elected on the Republican primary ballot in a county-wide election, serving a four-year term. The SCW represents Broward County on the leadership team of the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF). Michele has represented Broward to the state party since 2018.

Michele is dedicated to helping Republicans win elections at every level of government (local, state, national), growing the local Broward GOP, growing the Republican Party of Florida, and holding our elected officials accountable.

Michele’s political experience includes the following:

  • Elected as the Broward Republican State Committeewoman for Broward County, Florida twice, 2018-2020 and 2020-2024.
  • Serves on the Republican Party of Florida Executive Committee, 2018- present.
  • Serves as the Caucus Chairwoman for Congressional District 23, 2023-present.
  • Served as the Caucus Chairwoman for Congressional District 22, 2019 – 2023.
  • Appointed by President Donald Trump, Selective Services Board, South Florida.
  • Delegate, 2024 RNC Convention.
  • Delegate, 2020 RNC Convention.
  • Alternate Delegate, 2016 RNC Convention.
  • Board Member, SoldierStrong, Veterans Non-Profit, 2021-present.
